why the hell can i send files perfectly well from my blackberry, but not receive them in any way shape or form either from my sony ericson, or from my imac. it's weird and kind of annoying. it says the devices are paired with the blackberry, and the LED flashes blue when it's trying to send, but then it fails. every time. i'd be lying if i said i wasn't baffled...

Besides pairing your BlackBerry with the other device you need to set your BlackBerry to receive via bluetooth mode. Once that's done you'll be able to send files via bluetooth to your BlackBerry.

kewl, that makes sense, but i can't find the option anywhere to 'set blackberry to receive via' bluetooth mode...

I believe in the Media app, if you hit the menu key, you can select "Recieve using bluetooth"

Browse to where you want to save the file using Explore. Then hit the menu key and select "Receive using Bluetooth." You have to do this each time.
