Default Receiving Pic messages?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi

I am somewhat of a newb here. I searched around but didn't find the answer I was looking for. Is there any possible way to receive picture/texts and be able to view it on my phone? Right now I get a notification saying someone has sent me a picture, but I have to logon to a website and enter a username and password. What do I have to do here?

Thanks in advance.

i don't think your phone plan is set up to receive mms messages. so you get a text and a link to view it. call customer service and get it changed

Oh it's a plan type of thing? Ok... Thanks. I wasn't sure if it was possible or not.

I have TMO and I had to send myself an MMS before the phone would recognize them from someone else. Try sending yourself a pic and see if that helps.

I'm not familiar with ATT. I would think that it may be included in the data plan.

Is the phone an ATT phone or is it an unlocked phone from another provider? My wife's phone was unlocked from another provider and she had to have TMO software added to her phone.

Just an idea.

You need to have TMO CS send it to you or you can go into a store and have it done. I would recommend that you contact CS and have them send it to your phone then walk you through installing it on your phone.

Good luck. Let us know if it works.

Usually MMS is in you SMS plan ... BB Data includes email and web browsing ... If you are getting a "message failed to send" message then you may need to delete your service books and resend them ... but it does sound like a service issue ... you need to call customer service and see if you have picture messaging

That's correct. Can't view pictures on your phone w/o the respective plan.
