Angry 7100T and Yahoo Yellow Pages

Please Login to Remove!

I've been using the Yahoo Yellow pages from my BlackBerry browser (7100T) since I got it last year with ZERO problems. But a week or two ago it stopped working, now rather than a list of results I get the LINKS as a LONG text string not a HTML link.

Anyone seen this? Any ideas? I use this ALL the time and miss it, tried BlackBerry 411 but like Yahoo more.

Thanks

I have had the same problem. Since "no one uses the Yahoo Yellow Pages," any suggestions for an alternate site?

go to http://yp.yahoo.com/ and enter a location with a zip code. Then search for a local store, I get a long string not a link back. Worked before.

gsulliva, I was able to get in and search on that page but, it did bring back the info for the location as a long line of text. The info was correct but, it was just a bunch of text. I will look for some alternatives to this. I have only had my 7100t for a little over a month and I am still finding things..

If anyone figures out why the Yellow pages don't work any more please post. It is the best feature I use on my BlackBerry.

I've been using Berry411. Works better. I did try the Yahoo Yellow pages just for kicks and gigles and I got the same thing you all did.

Default Berry411

I would recommend you try berry411. It is the single best third-party application I have used on my blackberry. It is very quick and I believe it uses google local to find its results.

I just use google SMS now. I put google in my address book with the number 46645. I send a text message to that number such as: pizza portland, or
OR
weather boulder, CO
OR
wireless san dimas, CA

It's very quick, and it's a message so it's saved and easy to access. Don't use the browser for hardly anything these days.
Check out the details at: http://www.google.com/sms/
