Hmmm...running 5.18.11 but I continue to have problems with all day events on my 8130 VZW.

When scheduling an all-day multi-day event only the first day of the event shows - I know this was noted previously but I thought a fix was put forth -

I attempt to get around this by creating an all-day reoccurring event that reoccurs once a day for five sequential days...and all five events show up, but the entire series is shifted one day earlier than scheduled. As others have noted, this error is only in the PD shell and when I examine the event in native calendar it appears fine -

Any thoughts? Despite these small bugs along the way, PD is a tremendous addition to the functionality of the BB - thanks!

I have the same event sequence and now the payday event does not show at all. A yearly event does show correctly for today.

As noted in the post (page 6) where we release 5.18.11, pocketday cannot display all day, multi-day non-recurring events properly due to bugs in the BB operating system. They will only appear on the 1st day. We have reported this to RIM to fix. Set up a recurring event instead as a workaround.

gocats, I have entered your event with the BB set to pacific time and don't see the issue. Are you looking at the today view, week or month view?

crs, the additional or second appointment shows up on Friday in both today & month views but not in week view.

crs, I just deleted the appointment and set up a new appointment wit hte same parameters except I set start to Feb 7th and it did not duplicate on Feb 8th but the following week it is showing up on Feb 14 & Feb 15 in the today & monthe views but not in the week view.

Just posted 5.19. This is pretty close to the final release which will be called 5.2. Fixes:

Corrected the weekly recurring issue as described above
Del key in Empower should work
Changed the time display of multi-day non-recurring entries on subsequent days
Re-Instated the PocketDay Keypad Lock instead of the native BB one.

I don't know if this is related to above issue but I've just updated and set up a recurring all day event start on Feb 8 end Feb 11 and it appears on Feb 7 as well.

Thanks for the info, crs. It was something I'd wondered about.

One additional small thing I wouldn't mind seeing in a future version (not 5.2 since it sounds close to final release) is for the header area to show the current Profile.

With a double line header now, it looks (I could be wrong and just not seeing hidden status icons) like there is enough real estate to possibly support a single letter to indicate the current profile, possibly on the right side.

I am not suggesting profile change capability (one can escape out and change profiles, use hotkeys or use the convenience key for that), but simply one that indicates the status (Normal, Vibrate, Quiet, etc.). A single letter and/or configurable colour combination might do the trick: L = Loud, V = Vibrate, N = Normal, etc.).

Why? Well as a business type device (not that I personally use it for business), I'd find it helpful as I glance at PD looking at the meeting summaries and so on, if or if not I need to change my current profile or not at a glance. If it's the "wrong" profile, I can then escape out and change the profile to something more appropriate. But usually I have to escape out to check in the first place, and a profile status indicator would prevent the need for me to do that.

That said, I do use the BB Profiles Scheduler App, so I don't have quite the need as I described above, but those without that ability (keystroke injection disabled, on BES, keyboard and device locks) might find a profile status indicator more useful than I.

Again, personally I'm just looking for an indicator. Functionality beyond the indicator is something that can be considered also but would take much more programming, I would imagine and might not be worth the while in PD.

New issue w/ 5.19

A regular appointment I have for 5:30 today now does not show up in PD (it did before upgrade). When I move to another day and hit GOTO then Today, I get the following error & PD shuts down:

UncaughtlangNullPointerException

Not sure if the two incidents are connected or not.
