Default Files to BB???

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
I've tried to get some excel and pdf files to my BB, but i can't seem to find something that works... I don't have email plan, so i can't send them as attachments... i can only send them through USB cable...
I tried to instal eFile, but it keeps saying "connect your device", so i did, but it still does not find it.. i tried it several times, with no luck...
is there a way to do that???
thanks a lot!!!

If you don't have a micro SD media card in your BB, the only way is via the BB Desktop Manager, using the Media Manager to access the folders on the Pearl.

The Pearl's device memory folders are not to Windows directly, so you can't get to them via Windows Explorer.

With a microSD memory card you can save files to it just like a USB jumpdrive.

Hi John,
Can these files be viewed on a BB and can you load the memory card into a PC to move the files?

Nope, I never said you can view them. You can store them. However, with BeamBerry you can view them. I use BeamBerry and it works great. It does take the document on the card and transfer it to a server and then render the document for you so you need network coverage for it to work.
