Question Skype for Blackberry

is there a way to make Skype work on Blackberry curve 8320? i only need to call users with skype on their pc so i only need the free version of skype. is there a way to download skype and use it through my wireless network? any advice is appreciated!

AFAIK, there is no SKYPE application for the BB. There isn't a BB version listed on their mobile website either.

Wifi would be the only way the calls would work as EDGE doesn't have the bandwidth and speed to have a decent quality call.

yea i didn't see it on their site neither. but i did hear of some 3rd party programs that will work with blackberry, i just don't know where to find them. any suggestions?

Read this IM+ for Skype...the thing is you have to have Skypeout...

I know with the new BB there is WifFi but I run the 8300 and was wondering if there is a way to use the Yahoo Messenge or Google Talk through the phone without getting charged for the Internet usage?

I use skype on my blackberry but I use a 3rd party program called iSkoot. go to iSkoot | Life on the go. and it works really well and free. It uses voice minutes though when u use the software.
