New Pearl 8130 owner

Hello, I'm new here. I just ordered an 8130 Pearl which should arrive tomorrow (can't wait!) I'm a long-time Mac user and I plan on using the Pearl as an extension essentially of a web hosting business that I run and manage. I use Mail.app on the Powerbook in my office and that along with web access will be where most of my focus is. I live and die by email (as I'm sure most of you do as well) and I'm trying to figure out the best strategy for using the Pearl in conjunction with my office mac. Basically I'd like to set things up so that whenever I'm away from the office, I get email from various POP accounts on my BB and I'd imagine I can set the BB to leave mail on the server, so everything will be accessible from the office when I get back as well. That should work out fine, but I don't want to be getting email on the BB that I've already downloaded to my office Powerbook. Just stuff I haven't seen. What is the best/most "elegant" way to set this up? Also, is it possible to have different alerts based on either mailbox, priority, or keywords? Thanks in advance!
