No, that wouldn't work with a BlackBerry.
However, you wouldn't need it anyway.
The BlackBerry is a push email device.
It does push mail on its own through your blackberry data plan.

THe reason i ask is because i need to sync my calendar and tasks wirelessl, but my company does not use exchange server or blackberry enterprise server.

Is there any program that can sync all of my pim data wirelessly withouth the use of blackberry enterprise server?

Did you mean BES Express? That is a single user license for BES. You'd need email admin rights, be on the same WAN as the email server and another pc, separate from the mail server to install BES.

If wireless PIM sync is important to you, then BES is the only way.
You don't absolutely need your own. You could always try a hosted BES solution.
Hosted Microsoft Exchange - Wireless Outlook Web Access Microsoft Exchange Hosting, Corporate e-mail Hosting

Try mail2web.com - Pick Up Your Email. I believe they support Blackberry through their Exchange service.

Any update on this? Like robdasho, I too would like to have all my data on my BB (contacts, calendar), to be synced to a service. I am an individual consumer (no BES).

peguin and rarexxx, could you elaborate on your suggestions regarding exchange servers?

Thanks.

There's nothing to update. Full wireless PIM sync is a BES feature... not BIS.
Click on the links above for more details about hosted BES solutions.
I'm not exactly sure what you want us to elaborate on.

Does the software have a name yet? And who's developing it? (I ask so I can stay informed of updates)
