Default Help me out with my Blackberry!

Please Login to Remove!

hello!...i just bought a new blackberry pearl from t-mobile and i got the 29.99 plan. Im trying to put Ramble on my phone but the desktop manager application loader tells me "The blackberry desktop software does not have blackberry device software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator."...can someone help me out. im really trying to get Ramble on my phone.

did you connect the backberry? with the usb cable

yea i did and it says add and when i click add i am allowed to click on ramble but it tells me no additional applications were found

red__berry, you only installed desktop manager on your PC, right? You should also install the handheld software (i.e. The device software), either from a CD that came with the blackberry, or download from tmobile website.

i just installed the cd and i can see all the stuff inside the phone when i am in the divice application loader, i clicked add then i added Ramble but it doesnt show up like i added it to the phone or the application loader

I'm no expert but I read on here that sometimes you have to remove your battery after installing some applications or what not and then it shows up. Maybe try that, you got nothing to lose.

i just did that after reading your post but notting happened!! idk if im doing something wrong or what

I have the same problem, red. What I do is just download things straight off the internet to my phone. It's the only solution I know of

Yeah maybe try downloading OTA again, nothing to lose LOL.

Sorry I can't be of more help here man I'm new to this and the only thing I could reallly suggest was taking battery out. Hopefully you'll figure this out and it'll work.

did you download of the internet?

and if u did did u open it with WinZip?

Ramble is like aim...and yea i did downloaded it off the internet but directly into my computer as a .alx file

open the desktop manager connect the BB(blackberry) (blackberry the cd)
then you have to open with WinZip

and take both of the programs(there are going to be 2 folders) out into the desktop and look for them with the application loader

thanks but the problem is not finding the programs its that they wont get added into my phone(when i click add and then i add the program it takes about 5 seconds then a message pops up and says "no additional applications designed for your device were found"...and this is the link were i downloaded it from Ramble® Instant Messenger
