Default Multiple phones, one user, one email account

Please Login to Remove!

We have a user who has multiple phones and wants them to map to a single email account.

When I passed this on to the usual network admin to setup, they got the licenses and during the process of trying to set this up, came back to me and said that it is not possible.
In that if you try to activate it against one phone, it blocks out the other one.

Is that accurate, that it is not able to handle two phones against the same mailbox?

Can't be done - see multiple posts on this topic...

Only 'solution' is to deliver email to one device via BIS and other by BES but that's a rubbish solution..

I did a search, but apparently not for the correct search terms.

Thanks for the prompt reply.

I will speak with the user and see if BIS is enough for one phone (it is an issue of frequent time in two countries, and headaches with having only one phone during those times - but perhaps full features are not as big a deal).

well you can get unlimited data roaming and BES usage on a UK cellco's plan for around 56 pounds per month, which is probably like about $400 per month now so that's probably a bit expensive for our USA based friends...

as to searching - behold the power of google:-
