Yes. And it works very well, too.

Why call TMO? The exact instructions are in the FAQ and work great.

I am currently trying to get this to work. I followed the FAQ instructions found here Using BlackBerry As Modem - BlackBerryFAQ

I'm using a TMobile RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8100, and my plan has unlimited internet and email.

The only thing that I think I setup wrong is the username and password. I don't recall setting up a username and password with this phone when I initially purchased this (online at Tmobile.com). The only username and password that I know I setup was the one to pay my bills online at myTmobile.com.

I tried calling Tmobile tonite and they didn't know what username and password that I was asking for so they just gave me the web site one over. Which I already had. They did mention that my phone had a username account and password, but I could only get that by visiting a tmobile retail store. Any help is greatly appreciated.

btw, my laptop has Windows Vista Ultimate installed on it.

nevermind I got this figured out, and as a matter of a fact I'm posting from my laptop which is using my BB to dial in.

I'm not seeing a "write up" here. The one in the FAQ worked fine for me. With TMobile there is no username or password.

learn something new everyday! for the past few months i had no idea this feature existed, i always thought it was an option you had to pay for with TMO because verizon offered it to my boyfriend. this will come in handy when i'm on the beach with no internet connection! =)
