Isn't this the same question you have in two other threads? You may not have the answer you want yet, but that may be cause no one has the answer. One thread per question is always nice, even if you need to bump it.

Noone has the answer? It's simple find an owner of the Blackberry Pearl 8130 and that is able to go to http://m.youtube.com from there Blackberry and is able to watch videos and then just let me know what all settings are checked. Ive seen atleast two people who have the same BB that said they are able to watch vidoes just fine, Theres the answer. I switched devices today (still kept the same one) and before I came home and backed up my new BB with the settins from my old one that was on the computer I was able to watch YouTube videos but now ever since I backed it up im getting that error problem rendering page or whatever. Grrrrr

If you would like to list the details you need I'll gladdly share the info. However, from what I have read the problems with m.youtube.com are not entirely predictable.

I just got a different device today and it was able to play videos untill i came home and restored the device. I don't understand what the problem is there is a setting off somewere and now im not even sure that it is in the browser because I have reset them to defaults! This is VERY aggravating!

It seems no one on here helps you from all of your posts, and double posts. Being a little nicer and not so defensive will go a long way on here. Demanding answers and then getting mad at suggestions solves nothing. As others have said a BlackBerry may not be the device for you. And I know this message is of no help.

Tyler, you would do well to read through the FAQs and Stinsonddog's Tips, both linked in my signature. With all the questions you have and your need to for "near instant" satisfaction, many of the questions I have read of yours are answered there. Your second post after 33 minutes questions that no one has the answer. It does appear demanding. Please be patient.

Good luck. Please DO NOT double and triple post the same questions in these forums. It causes the helpful and knowledgeable users here to not look at your posts (the old boy who cried wolf syndrome).

You've been around BBForums quite a while, enjoy.

Default Hope this works...

I had not tried to watch videos, but when I did, my new BB 8130 played them from mobile youtube, so here are my settings:

(The following items listed are checked, items not listed are not checked)

Browser Configuration:
Support JavaScript
Allow JavaScript popups
Terminated slow running scripts
Support HTML Tables
Use foreground and background colors
Use background images
Support Embedded Media

Style Sheets media type: Handheld
Show images: On WML & HTML Pages
Emulation Mode: Blackberry
Content Mode: WML & HTML

General Properties:
Def. View: Column
Enable Cursor in Column: Checked
Image Qual: MEdium
Repeat Animations: 100 times

That is what settings I have checked. Hopefully this lets your BB play videos.

So what fixed it...just getting the new phone, or getting the new phone and adjusting settings to match the ones posted?

Sounds like just changing the settings fixed it for him. That's what he was trying to find out from anyone who got it to play YouTube videos. Finally someone came forth. That's what forums like this are for.
