You aren't doing anything wrong. You can't remove this screen by any method.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

The screen is embedded in the firmware no changing it

I'm with Centennial Wireless and use an unlocked AT&T Curve. I have successfully removed the annoying AT&T boot up screen by using the following method.

Step 1: Turn the phone on

Step 2: Lay the phone on my desk

Step 3: Get up and leave the room for at least 3 minutes.

Step 4: Come back into the room and resume using my beloved Curve.

Step 5: Success! That annoying screen has now vanished from my sight.

I hope this didn't upset anyone, just my feeble attempt at Saturday morning humor.

We all just have to learn to love our BBerrys no matter what their, color, creed or Logo may be.

Have a great day all.

I get the Rogers logo on reboot, but it only lasts for a couple of seconds. Then the original Rogers origin of my Curve is invisible. I just can't see it as an issue really. Of course, is I could substitute my pirate logo for the Rogers pic I'd do it in a heartbeat!

Why worry about something that only flashes for a couple of seconds every few days - supposing you reboot your phone that often?
