Default Bluetooth & Resetting of Device

Please Login to Remove!

Hey there,

I have my BB8300 paired with my Dell Inspiron 1721, and whenever they are in range of each other the auto-connect (but I have to accept the connection via the dialog).

However, intermittently I have noticed that when this pairing occurs it causes the BlackBerry to reboot itself, this has occurred both during a call & without calling.

Anyone have this issue &/or familiar with a fix?

Thanks,
--Phil

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8700g: BlackBerry8320/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

I am having similar issues with my 8320. I am trying to figure out if it only occurs when UMA is enabled. Right now I have UMA disabled, but have the wireless, WiFi and Bluetooth radios on. I was able to make a call before with no issues. However, I just started my testing. And mine only seemed to happen randomly.

This is the same problem I referenced in my 10-28 post, set forth again below. I know it has also happened with blackberries and bluetooth headests.

I have a Blackberry 8700c. When using it with the Bluetooth in my car, the blackberry frequently shuts down and restarts when the Bluetooth connection is broken--sometimes while in use, sometimes when I simply turn the car off. I have had this problem ever since I got the blackberry, I even replaced it once. I cannot be the only person with this problem. Are you familiar with the issue and are there any available fixes? Thanks.
