Just wanted to let anyone who hasn't heard of the new "Skins" you can get to fit your phone. They are Great!!! I bought one and I just love it!! I wish I could buy stock in this company. I originially found them by reading a review in Handheld Computing Magazine,and I love to change my phone to fit my moods.

Here is one of the SkinIt covers on a 7290. This is a business bb so the cover is a low key black on black rain drop Skin It. I liked the wood grain Skin It that I had better.

I tested the cut out from the screen area on the back of the bb for a vacation week laying in a beach bag before I put the real Skin It on the front. The first wood grain skin I then left on for about two months until I wanted to try a new one. They stick very well with no peeling of the corners yet when you do pull it off there is no residue on the bb!

The Skin It just barely covers just the front of the bb, nothing on the sides or the back. The LED is uncovered and it does not get close to any of the controls. Both Skin It's I ordered a few months ago had the tear drop shaped cut out for the power button which you can see in the photo does not match the round power button of the 7290. I found that it was easist if you remove the cutouts for the screen and the buttons before you remove the Skin It.

ok that settles it I am ordering one but i wonder how it will stick to mine since it has nicks and gouses out of it.

skin should be fine and cover he nicks. I say this because it covers the mic at bottom of phone and no problems hearing me talk. I have several skins and will post the photos I took of them and my phone now( ready for the july 4th) as soon as I can shrink the file size.

who said they had a 7100? I did get the ones I ordered for my wife i730 very nice indeed. I just cant seem to pull the trigger on the ones for my BB.
