I have a bluetooth stereo headset with Forward, Reverse, and Pause controls. These don't control this player though. Can we add that feature?

Hello .. I watch a good deal of shows on my Palm that are converted from Tivo. I uses the Tivo Desktop Plus to convert the one hour TV shows with the Palm Treo profile.

My problem is any Media Player need to have the ability to Fast Forward through commercials. Does this support that or will it support it?

Thanks!

Ok I'm having a weird problem here and not sure what I'm missing. When I first installed the latest version (0.97beta5), I had my videos in .mp4 format stored on the root directory of my microSD card. When I browsed to this using 'Add File', it didn't find anything. I tried using 'Add Folder' and still nothing. I then went in and moved all the files to 'SDCard>Blackberry>Videos and it still doesn't find a single video.

I have noticed when I got into the Videos dir, it says SDCard/mp3s/ on the title bar... not sure why that shows that way but what am I missing here? It plays the mp3s that I have in that directory fine and the built in player plays my movies fine, but this program doesn't seem to recognize them... *stumped*

Yeah according to where I got the download, the updated information says it does and apparently it has for a while... but I'm thinking it's not recognizing them as well...

I'm really enjoying this program... Fantastic beta to build on and you certainly get your money's worth! Couple of things though. Its strange, about 20% of the songs on my lists don't play at all. No error message, it shows the song playing but there is no sound, then the next few song will play just fine. Also, Windows Media Player playlist support would be a really nice addition. Keep up the good work and I hope to see more x-berry soft releases soon!

Very nice job, but I can not find a Fast Forward function. It will be quite difficult to listen to an audio book without fast forward.

Also, I know PDF files really aren't considered media, have you though of adding PDF format to the reader? I would love to be able to read PDF files stored on my media card. We could make a PDF subdirectory under the pictures directory.

Exactly what I was thinking, I need a fastforward button or something. I scroll through individual files, i.e movies and videos, alot just to check how things work and it was very frustrating trying to see how the videos looked without fastforwarding to the good parts.

Default sounds good

I'm in... looking forward to the internet radio. As long as it doesn't eat up too much of my precious, and expensive rogers data!

xxxdev,

thanks for the player, have been trying to find something that plays full size movies on my 8800. This does it.

Trying to play music downloaded from SpiralFrog.com. Won't work on my 8310. Will they play on this media player?

Default Slow to create playlists

I'm finding adding files to playlists incredibly slow. I assume this is because of the number of tracks I have in each folder - 70 or more.

Is there any way around this other than trying to break them up into more folders? It can take 20 seconds to open a folder.

Can the speed be improved? What's it doing anyway - sorting? - getting track names from tags in the files?

Sometimes I find it very slow even to exit from a folder to a main folder that contain no tracks - just more folders of tracks. What's it doing - examining each subfolder?

Can I build playlists any other way? Manually, somehow?
