Default Opera Mini Beta 4.2 on Curse 8320 - No Zoom Out

Please Login to Remove!

I loaded up the newest beta of the Opera Mini browser for Blackberry largely to get the full page view of web pages, but I can't zoom out. Is anyone using the new beta? Have you been able to zoom out? If so, how???

Thanks,
Craig

I used the new Opera Mini Beta quite frequently on my Moto V3i until I upgraded to my new Curve two weeks ago.

I'm finding the native BlackBerry browser to be pretty good. Other than this zooming option, what advantages are you finding in the Opera browser as compared to BlackBerry's own browser?

I find Opera is WAY faster loading than the BB browser. It has unbelievable load speeds on WiFi also.

Yeah. My favorite feature is that it doesn't pause for 15 seconds and say "loading scripts" while rendering pages

I have the latest Opera beta loaded on my 8830 and it works a lot better than the previous beta. As far as the zooming problem, try this.

In the Opera intro page, they talk about using the number keys to quickly navigate around a web page:

Up
2
Left 4______6 Right
8
Down
I found that if I press the "5" button, it zooms me back out after zooming into a page. Works great!

Hope this helps.
