Talked to a very nice customer service rep today. I am returning my 8300 to get the 8310. I bought mine on buisness website so she couldn't help me out but she did some research for me. She couldn't find the 8310 yet, no suprise seeing it isn't out until Thursday. I gave her the number from bgr's website and it showed that they had them in stock..She looked at it closer and it was a motorola phone. So no confirmation yet. I beleive jibi but wanted at&t to confirm, not yet though.

I really hope it comes out this week. I plan on picking it up as a birthday gift to myself. 4 days left!

Wow, its super quiet in here. I would think this would be hyped up a bit, which makes me think that Oct 4th is a dream rather than a reality. However, I'd be happy if AT&T hit me with a left hook outta left field and dropped it this week. Boom goes the dynamite.

I just got back from a corp store and they told me that they won't know until they show up at the door. Nobody knew anything about the 8310. I'm still holding off for another week before I port over to AT&T to see if they get them in.

The 8310 is the phone that could bring me back from the iPhone. I am just loving the phone I paid, well my gf paid, $500 dollars to borrow from Steve-O.. He still gets to control what I can and cannot do with it...down to what apps I canNOT load..not to mention no IM or copy/paste.

Guys, the iPhone JUST got the double-spacebar for a period in the most recent update..but still cannot copy/paste.. Hilarious...or sad actually.

I'm on a time crunch here because I bought a new 8300, might return it if it isn't out and use my razr for the time being. I get good discounts from the buisness premier site.

i guess we should be expecting an announcement anytime today or tomorrow. with the 8820 they announced it a day before you could order it or get it in a store.

If it's today I'll find out fore sure. I'm heading over to the largest AT&T corp store in the area after work to port our numbers over from VZW and I'm getting the 8300 to start and will make sure to bug anyone around about the 8310 so I can bring back the 8300 to get the 8310. I'll report back anything that I hear. My bosses husband works for AT&T and told me to go to this store as they will have any information on the new phones.

Thanks audit, don't know if they will know anything. Most of the time they don't know anything until it comes up on their computer. Jibi said someone high up with at&t told him they can be ordered tomorrow and on the site Thursday, hopefully that is concrete info. But keep us informed.

I just got back from an AT&T store and they knew nothing about the 8310. The guy even told me it would be "a while". I don't give that much credence as they guy was super nice but didn't see to be on top of his game regarding BB knowledge.

The only thing that has detracted me from the Curve is it does not feel as solid as the 8800 and the keys seem clicky compared to other BBs I have used (7250, Pearl and 8800). But, if you folks who have been using the Curve say that is not an issue, I believe you.

I have had both the 8800 and the 8300 and there isn't really any difference as far as the keyboard. The 8800 is heavier and does seem more solid but the 8300 is solid also.

Well as i said on another thread i posted earlier, i spoke to my sons Godmother like an hour or so ago she is an AT&T manager, the phones will be available online on Thursday and in stores will be just a few days, only selected stores round the country will have it available the date of release, of course Orlando isn't the exception but she said she doesn't believe she will have any in her store on Thursday but Saturday. again there will be 2 colors Titanium and red, price will be 199.99 after 100 bucks of rebate (299.99 full price)
again i hope this helps, I'm keeping my fingers crossed till Thursday hoping the will have it on Amazon pretty soon, since I'm already going nuts without any sleep thinking about this phones, to the point that got in to a fight with my Hubby:P Figures
