I got my unlock code from at&t cs. I went through the process and got "code accepted" at the end of it, my question is....Is there a way in any menu to verify the 8800 is indeed unlocked?

Options > Advanced Options > SIM Card, type MEPD

Network should show disabled, as well as everything else. As long as the Network is disabled, it is unlocked.

Did you have to provide proof of purchase?

Hello,

I bought a T-mobile Blackberry 8800 and bought an unlock code from a site. After followed the instruction, the phone seems unlock. When I went into the Sim card setting it showed
" Personalization:

SIM Disabled
Netword Disabled
Network Subnet Disabled
Service Provider Disabled
Corporate Disabled "

However, when I put the At&t sim card into the phone and it still shown "Insert SIM card"

What do I need to do to make it works on At&t network?

The phone is unlocked. It sounds like maybe you are not inserting the card in properly.
