hey guys, i need to know if the pearl only supports edge? nothing faster? might be a dumb question but my buddy was insisting the pearl has 3g and ive never had it so what gives? honestly, edge is sooooo slow.

theres edge... and then EDGE.. to me the latter is a bit faster than the former.
i guess it depends on the area. as for 3g.. maybe in the future that'll become available.

Wish it did but, then again, the battery drain would be a negative.

I'd take the loss in battery life for 3G data speeds... I use my BlackBerry for a lot of data...

But no, Pearl is NOT 3G capable. Just to emphasize.
