I was able to add contacts with PIN but not any more. Not even when I have the PIN in the contacts under PIN or use once. Only gives me email option. Please advise?

Can you walk thru the steps you are using? When I add someone who is in my address book I do this:

1 - Click menu key and click Add a Contact
2 - Find the person I want to add from my Address Book and hightlight that person
3 - Click menu key and click Request (PIN) <contact name>

Do those steps work for you?

I have the same problem on my curve, I can just add by email??
Somebody know the solution pls?

from within the BB messenger I press menu button and choose add a contact. Get to my contact list and chose a person that I know I have included the PIN in the contact info and it asks me to choose between two email addresses. Also, a collegue of mine and I tried to use the BB Messenger and the messages come through as SMS messeges.

As for your steps, I will try. Requests that I have sent out before to people just stay in the pending part of the messenger. Thanks

When I try to add a contact, I do not have the option shown in your point 3. It only shows me the option to add the person Request (Email).

Also, another issue I face with one of my friends, is that when I try to add him to my contacts, it sends the add request... to me.

If the person's pin is in the address book:
Go to Add contact. highlight the name of the contact (don't press the ball) and press the menu key. You'll see the option to add via email or add via pin.

If the person's pin is not in the address book:
Go to add contact. Highlight "use once" (don't press the ball) and press the menu key. You'll see the options to add via email or pin just as above

All BBMessenger message use data, not SMS. It's not possible to use SMS messaging with BBMessenger.
