Default Only syncronize BlackBerry during office hours

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I own a BlackBerry 8700 and I would like my phone not to syncronize my mail in the weekendens and between 18:00 and 07:00.

Can this be done? And how?

Thx,

Esben

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830: BlackBerry8830/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

Turn the radio off during those times.

But when you turn it back on all the email still on the server will be sent, so you will still get it.

There are a number of threads that address pausing or stopping email delivery and your options depend on how you're set up. Are you on BES? BIS? Both?

FYI -- email doesn't sync on any BB. Email is pushed and reconciled. While reconciliation and sync may appear similar there are distinct differences.

Not sure about other carriers but with tmobile and the BIS account... i can log into MyTmobile and under the e-mail managment link, clicking the filter button i can choose whether or not to forward e-mails to a specific e-mail account and leave others on. So when i am at work i turn it off because i dont need to see those until i leave, which is when i turn it back on. I am able to keep the others on so i can still recieve home e-mails at work and dont need to turn data off.
