Exclamation Best way to remove scratch on 8830 screen?

Please Login to Remove!

I have a couple very minor scratches on the face of my 8830 screen from dropping it in my driveway.

I have read about possible scratch removers called "Applejuice" which is made fro iPods and not reccomended for phones.

Are there any products that are tried and tested to remove minor scratches from the Blackberry screen?

I dont want to try something new and possibly damage my screen further, please only reply if you have tried and been successful with this.

Thanks!!!

...and definitely get a screen protector, if not a full body kit from Best Skins Ever or Invisible Shield.

just ordered displex off ebay for $6.00 and a Invisible Shield for my screen display.

If I cannot remove the scratches 100%, will the Invisible Shield have bubbles or imperfections in the seal?

Gang - I have never used this for a BlackBerry or cell phone but this trick worked for me on a digital camera, like a charm. Can't see why it would not work on a RIM.

Go to walmart or some place that has car cleaning supplies. Look for polishing compoount. I just bought some "Turtle Wax" brand for $5 last week. Use a fine cotton cloth and use a very tiny amount, and just rub the scratches on your phone.

Polishing compount is just some "goo" that has fine particles in it that will give a mirror-finish to whatever you polish. It is typically used to remove oxidized paint from a car but it takes out scratches perfectly.

If the surface of the screen is plastic, it will work great in all likelyhood. There are no harsh chemicals in this stuff, just fine particles embedded in a water-soluble goo.
