I am going to be doing a DB merge with 2 SQL 2000 DB's to one SQL 2000 DB and then moving that DB to SQL2005.

Anyone have experience with such a task (or even part)? So far DART support does not see any "critical" issues from their test merge of our DB's.

I searched and only found one related thread and it wasn't complete on the answer...

yup, should work like a charm

i'd test it with backups of the DB first so you have an idea of how long it'll take ... and then you're just doing a db move. easy peasy; what questions did you have>

We have some users that have handhelds that are not compliant with version (hh code is <4.0.2.33) which means that they must wipe and EA their devices after the merge. Curious if anyone has experienced other user issues with folks that have compliant HH code?

ugh, I'm sorry! Every merge I've done has had all compliant HH versions and had no issue.
