I have an 8800 interfacing with a BES and would like to modify my email signature and also have the possibility to turn off the signature.

The directions claim I need to contact the adminstrator but isnt that a local setting on the 8800.

how do I do this?

If you're on a BES, go into Messages, then Options, then Email Settings. The Auto Signature function is there.

what if you're not on a BES?

i'm sending email using IMAP through my isp. i'm on an 8830 and under MESSAGES > OPTIONS the only choices i have are:

General options
Email settings
Email reconciliation


nothing in any of those about email sigs. can anyone help?

Log into your carriers BIS website. Edit the email account you want to change. You can change your signature from there.
