Default Battery Model Number?

Please Login to Remove!

Can someone check the battery model number on their 8300? I (think) i have them mixed up from my pearl! TIA

OEM batteries
8300 - Dark blue (C-S2)
8700 - Dark Blue (C-S2)
8800 - Green (lime) (C-X2)
7100 - Dark blue (C-S2)
8100 - Gold/yellow (C-M2)

I returned it to att store after when I took the 8700 battery out of 8700g and put it into 8300 curve instead of 8300 battery. its WORK! no problem..

XB, those (8700 and 8300) batteries and completely different, and it wont surprise me if it doesn't work very long... use the battery intended for the BB.

The 8300 actually comes with the C-S2 battery, the blue. Not the gold/yellow like the pearl.

JSanders, you look at picture of curve in my hand. I put 8700 battery into the 8300 and I played it for 24 hour less after I opened box, I took curve out of box. no need 8300 battery for curve. smile

So conclusion is that the 8700 battery will work fine in the 8300? Sweet I have a backup battery now!
