Well if I had known it would overwrite my original game I would not have downloaded it OTA. When I go to Options>Applications version 1 is still there. I tried to uninstall the new version and now I don't have either one. The icon for version 2 is still the in the ribbon but the game is gone. Also when I did have version 2 installed it would not let me choose tournament game type or the table type. It's like it was stuck on the first button.

Ok. I was able to get back to ver. 1 by installing it at Blackberry Extra. Even got my saved game back.

There might be a linkage issue in BlackBerry OS that causes an association between the old and new game but downloading the new game is indeed an upgrade (free for current owners) and overwrites the old version.

You should be able to OTA download it again.

When you refer to 'tournament game type', which menu window are you in?

Well since I no longer have it installed I can't remember exactly. I do remember a window in which you could choose the table. Ther were 2 buttons but I could not highlight the lower one, I could only click the first one.

I upgraded the texas hold em2 game and I had texas hold em 1, but when I downloaded the new version it replaced the old one and is asking me for a registration code, what am I suppose to enter in if it is free?

I also saw that the new chess version is out too and I downloacded that and it didn't aske me for a registration code for that one so I am not totally sure what's up with that. The only thing I can think of is that I gor the texas hold em game free from the blackberry extras page.

The lower button is disabled because you haven't earned enough money to join that style of tournament play.

Correct, you probably are trying to upgrade over the version you downloaded from mobile.blackberry.com which won't work. You can always go back to that version although we will eventually be retiring the tournament play associated to version 1.

I purchased version 1 from Cingular's MediaNet games section and Cingular charged me on my phone bill. How would I go about getting the free upgrade to version 2?

Default New version doesn't work?

I was licensed on version 1 and downloaded version 2 OTA with no problems on my 7290.

I can start the game, access the help screens, etc.

But when I start a game, the blind pays into the pot and then nothing happens. No cards, no action. I've tried pressing every key, and rebooting the BB, but still nothing.

Any ideas?

Hello,

Successfully upgraded on my 7100T. I'm excited about the improved AI and online play.

But I can't play. I get to a table, the cards are dealt, and I can do nothing but escape back to the menu. Keypad buttons do nothing. Scrollwheel does nothing. Help!

One other thing: how can I reset my account password on your game server?

Some WAP browser/gateway combinations (e.g. on AT&T) will cache what you last saw for a while. Here is the direct link to OTA:

http://bb.magmic.com/BB_color/d/TexasHoldem.jad

Hope that helps.

I have just downloaded the new version and everything is working great. The only problem is that the game is asking for a registration code (trial offer) even though I had already purchased the first version. Any ideas?
