Haven't confirmed but have heard if you take advantage of the Amazon pricing, then be aware porting your number in after you recieve the phone can and probably will bring you a ~$250 fee. If someone who has actually done this could chime in....

I havent ported in my number but after i purchased my 8800 from amazon.com i immediately had my cingular friend reverse my contract back to a no commitment and had my rate plan changed without any repercussion.
