OK. Found the issue. When I deleted the 4.7 version...I didn't reboot first. Just reinstalled everything and it works flawlessly!

I see no enhancements whatsoever to this OS - lower application version as previously mentioned - I'll wait for another update. . . I am remaining on the Rogers OS

I'm on Cingular/AT&T also. I can only download TeleNav ver. 4.7. The ota links all (including T-Mobile) lead me to the download of 4.7 again.Even after deleting 4.7 and rebooting. How did you get ver. 5.1 on your Cingular 8800? Thanks.

Does anyone know how to get the AT&T boot up screen on an 8800 rather then the Orange or Blue Cingular one? I've upgraded to the new OS with the AT&T theme and the Orange Cingular Boot up screen is still present.

You can download Telenav 5.1 OTA by this address:

This OS version does not permit Telenav directions over Bluetooth. Only the Rogers OS allows this.

If you extract the .cod files from say a VZ OS you should be able to load them with javaloader and modify the .alx to make it work.
