Hello. I searched for the answer to my question with no avail. If I change my device password (the password I enter when my device is locked), will my Password Keeper pw change with it? I guess the question is whether the device password and the Password Keeper password are the same thing. Thanks in advance for your help!

I hope nobody here has the wrong idea. It seems whenever someone asks a question about passwords, everyone assumes that the bb is stolen or hot. This is not the case with me. I bought my 8700c off of ebay-and paid good money for it. I have been using it for 4 to 5 months now. In fact I do a lot of wireless posting on this forum with my bb. I just was thinking of changing my device password and didn't know if that would change my password to get into password keeper. Sure I guess I could do it and see, but would just like to know how it worked. Usually when I ask a question I get a response in minutes or a few hours. Several days and 30+ views and nothing. So I just wanted to make sure everyone knows that this is my legally obtained device. Thanks for your help!

The Password Keeper password and the device unlock password are totally separate passwords.
