I've been reading rave reviews about Yahoo Go on other websites, but I'm not sure why.

I downloaded it about a month ago, got tired of it quickly, and uninstalled.

Am I missing something? What's your favorite features of Yahoo Go?

The best feature is that it is easy to uninstall. I think it sucks too. It is clunky, slow, and not a good user interface.

askmenow is much better, I don't like yahoo go either.. it's freakin slow

Uninstalled it after 3 days using it.....and 1 month ignoring it.

same for me. i used it for about 5 minutes before i decided how worthless it is. i agree, its very clunky and awkward to use...

I too had it and uninstalled it, not so much that it is so horrible but 4 things irked me about it.


1. You can't selectively remove items from the "carousel" (biggest complaint!)

2. The menu doesn't show up where all other menus show up (I've seen this in other apps as well) - why do some menus pop up in the lower left, some in the upper right?

3. The orange/blue color scheme didn't work for me - not because I don't like the colors, but I couldn't alway tell which "button" I had selected - the color change happens on selection, but the glint/highlight is off

4. The size of the content is way too large - two items per carousel page - not enough - and an "ad" on EVERY page...

Big fan of Viigo at the moment - which needs some tweaks, but at least they emailed me back and disussed my concerns in a matter of hours - Yahoo has yet to respond...
