Don't know about you guys but; the new OS gave me errors whenever I rebooted. PocketDay, beyond 411, and other apps. had problems also. Went back to the Chinese version for now....Later..

I love the optus software but the ringtones are very weak. This is the only gripe I have about these builds. Does this build fix this problem?

Is this ONLY for the 8700G or will it work with my 8700C?

EDIT: Whatever, I'm going for it. If it messes up you guys better help me backtrack though! I'll let u know my results for the 8700C.

Upgrade went well. Couldn't use some of my older themes... Hrmmm.

Edit: Seem to be experiencing sub par email delivery times.... Thinking about downgrading.

Consisting of:
Applications: 4.2.1.91

I'll try and give the feedback!!

To install this update:
1. Download and install the latest version of Desktop Manager
2. Donwload this OS and install it to the PC.
3. Delete the vendor.xml file located in c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader (this step is necessary any time an OS is installed from a different carrier than what is branded on the BB.)
4. Plug in BB and open Desktop Manager. You should be prompted to upgrade.

For T-Mobile BB users....
By the way, T-Mobile may release BIS 2.3 (would be applied to OS 4.2)? Here is a link:

Old 4.1 themes won't work other than some theme builder ones.

Email delivery isn't related to handheld software

As the first of many people who will ask this (if the other threads are any indication) you win a prize! What prize? The answer: no. You won't even ge the chance to mess it up. It won't even load

Yes, the only difference between a -c and -g are cosmetic.
