I'm running 4.2 (beta) on my 8700c and it's quite buggy....other than the few upgraded features, I am not noticing any major changes....

4.2 will only be available on devices with 64MB of memory. There will be no 4.2 for the 710x series, which have 32MB...

I'm really getting tired of waiting. I have 4.2 beta, which is nice enough that i will not downgrade to 4.1 but yet its not stable enough to be happy. I wish I knew it was coming, or if I could just get my hands on at least a 4.2.1.x code instead of the 4.2.0.54 code I have. Frustrating.

Soon, meaning May or June at the latest. It is in final testing now. It could be released earlier but I believe T-mobile will release it when they release the next Blackberry which is May.

8700 4.2.1.66 is available to test in simulator form on the blackberry developers site...it's a start

yea eversince i installed the beta it takes over an hour to boot up after a hard reset

I had that same beta code you do... it was bad. i dumped it pretty quick. the newer code from the simulator has no problems at all.
