I have a BB 7290. I saw a small equilateral triangle just to the left of the "GPRS" in the upper right of the home screen. It was there most of the morning and it's gone now. I don't think I've ever seen it before. Anyone have any ideas what it means? Everything seems to be working fine, so this is probably just idle curiosity. Many thanks.

I believe that is the "roaming" indicator.

It seems that this roaming indicator only appears on unlocked BB's. We have seen it with our 7100's, 7105's, and 7290's. We're unsure why it doesnt appear in the 8100's. (None of the 8700's are unlocked). Any ideas why this is NJBlackberry?

Actually, the unlocked part explains it.

I've had this unit for nearly two years and just had it unlocked about a month ago. That explains why the triangle really was "new" to me. Thanks!

We just unlocked one of our 8700's and it shows the roaming triangle indicator. I think this is theme dependant. Some themes will show this while roaming, other will on show it while roaming IF the BB is unlocked. Still don't see it on any theme in the 8100.
