Default Keypad lock problems

Please Login to Remove!

When I turn the keypad lock on, everything is fine. The moment I put it into its leather case, the keypad lock gets deactivated. I've tried this in the OEM leather case sold by Rogers and a non-OEM case. Does anyone else have this problem?

Put your BB in the case the opposite direction... do you put in your case facing OUT--away from the belt loop? Try, just for fun, placing it in the case face IN, facing the belt loop.

Does you case have a magnet? If it does then it puts it in the sleeper mode which is just as good, if not better in than the keypad function.

Yes both cases have magnets. "Sleeper mode" doesn't really do anything good as my phone can still make calls while in the case. I've tried putting the phone in every other possible way into the case and it does nothing. I've made a lot of accidental phone calls and even a long distance call. I don't really want to just throw it in my pocket as in no time it will be all scratched up.

Your phone should not make accidental calls if it is in the case the correct way, and in sleeper mode. IF however, you are hitting a speed dial key AS you slip it into the holster... yes, it will speed dial/redial, etc.

when i lock mine, it shows like it is locked for a few moments, then comes back to my home screen. If I hit lock again, then it works properly. It has been this way ever since I have had it, and I just deal with it.
