Talking Just discovered a new feature....

Please Login to Remove!

I just discovered a new feature on the equipped media player. I bet most of you already know of this, but I'm posting this because I've had my pearl for over a month and I just discovered this!

Alot of people have made comments about the media player on the pearl. Usually negative comments because the media player is limited in functionality. I used to listen to my mp3's as the default setting, TRACK INFO (INFO on 1 per TRACK on the MEDIA PLAYER SCREEN)

I just stumbled and realized you can hit the MENU key and change the options to SHOW PLAYLIST. I think this is alot better because you can at least browse through the folder and select the song, rather than having to press NEXT or BACK. And with the pearl trackball, it works quite nice.

Like I said, maybe 99% of all you already know this, but for the people like that me... here you go....

I like the media player alot more now...

I don´t have that option! which OS are you running? as I don't see the "show playlist" option! I'm supposed to hit the menu key while a file is playing?

This option only seems to show up when you are playing a folder. Very cool option that I was not aware of before. Thanks!

I'm running tmo .64 os. You want to select the folder, hit menu, play all, and while the music is playing, hit menu again, and show Playlist should be there...

I switched from the sonyericsson w800i walkman phone to the pearl. The switch was totally worth it, however one of my gripes was always the music quality on the pearl. With this find and the addition of the 1250 mah extended battery speaker grill IMHO the pearl is now own par with the w800i
