Question Red 8800 Must Be On Its Way to Cingy

Please Login to Remove!

When I went to configure a newly added line to my current Cingy account, one of the device choice options is a RED 8800. I assume that it's just a matter of time before they release. Someone in the web group must have gotten a little premature on their work Wish it was Ferrari RED, that would be a one of a kind for sure...

Maybe it was a typo and was supposed to be the Red 8100. I just can't see them releasing the 8800 in red.

I think you are correct. There is info on a few sites such as pinstack with pics of a Red Pearl. Hmmmm.

There is a RED PEARL (8100) getting ready for Cingular to release:
Red BlackBerry Pearl Coming to Cingular - Gizmodo

That has to be 'it'.

Whether a Pearl thread, or a rumor...this doesn't really belong here...

Wirelessly posted (eighty-seven hundred: BlackBerry8800/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

What kind of grown-ass man would sport a crimson 8800?

One that prefers red to the dark blue of the Cingular 8800?

If you define your manhood based on the color of your wireless device you need some help...

True that, but try telling it to the insecure, impudent bashers of the white 8100.

That would be news to me. I see that on the Cingy website you can get the Red 8100 but have not seen anywhere an 8800 in red.
