Hi im new to the blackberry forums. My name is steve and i just purchased a blackberry pearl and for some reason after a few weeks the phone only works on speakerphone its kinda buggin me and i was wondering if anyone has any information on how to fix this thanks

Welcome to the forums,
This has been a known issue on some Pearls. The contacts for the ear piece inside don't make good connection sometimes. If it's new I would exchange it for another one.

Just to be sure you can pop the battery out and back in and see if that helps.

I'm having the same problem. I was just on the phone with a T-Mo rep and they said that it's a somewhat common issue, but the "manufacturer" hasn't acknowledged the problem yet. I'm getting my phone exchanged for another.
