Once it is announced, be assured it will be posted here prominently. I have been told late march early april by reliable people I know with T-mo. Boy Genius has posted similar estimates.

i believe the time between the launch of the pearl on tmo to cingular was roughly 2 months .... so hopefully that'll happen ... i wish sooner ... but i am so going to cingular, buy it out right and then get it unlocked ... i'm over sure type and have been since 2 weeks after the launch of the 7100 ...

I have this susispision though that the one we get for tmobile will be the grey one we seen in the pictures, with the wider spaced keys. So we'll justh have to wait and see.

I hope it's the grey one. The only thing keeping me from jumping ship to Cingular for the 8800 is the butt-ugly dark blue housing. I hated that about T-Mo's 8700g.

I hope the T-Mo 8800 looks better than the AT&T 8800.

What grey one? The only one I had seen before the Cingular one was released was the nice looking black one.

I got mine today and its so dark dark blue that it might as well be black. I am happy with it so far (although I have done nothing with it quite yet as I have not gotten it unlocked). Soon though

I think he means the 8820. Cosmetically a little different and has a camera.

P.S. I also wish it would be the 8820. Crossing fingers!, lol.

I think the silver/grey model is supposed to be a non US carrier. I am hoping the nice black one BG posted live pics of is the tmo version.

I think it's definitely worth the wait for the 8820, since the 8800 is mostly a cosmetic change from the 8700.

It's a lot more than just cosmetic. The 8700c verus 8700g is cosmetic. Please read up on the specs.

Specs didn't change much besides becoming narrower, longer, thinner, slightly smaller screen. Same processor as 8700, same screen resolution as 8700 (which improves clarity on the 8800's slightly smaller screen), new GPS receiver. OS Features were added, however.

I thought the primary new features of the 8800 were GPS, microSD slot, music player, voice dialing, and restyling. I wouldn't consider those revolutionary. In my estimation, adding a camera and WiFi, which the 8820 does, really takes it up a big notch. Everybody's got an opinion...

According to this post:BlackBerryCool » T-Mobile BlackBerry 8800 coming in April, at bbcool. It looks like TMO will have the 8800 not the rumored 8820 in april.

FLIPP - this is based on an email sent out by a T-Mo rep. Nothing confirmed by T-Mobile's homebase just yet, only speculation for now.
