our MD had been testing a BB Pearl, and now wants the best of boths worlds.

To uses a 7290 for Primary day to day use .... sending / receiving.

To use the Pearl as a Secondary "Weekend" unit ... mostly receiving with the occasional send.

Is it possible to run two units in a Domino BES 4.1 envionment, that both receive the same mail ??? and also if so how ???
And if mail was sent from either unit it would display as the same user ??

any help would be appreciated...

Sorry this is not possible. One device per BES account. Maybe wait until the 8800 is available. I suspect that this will satisify the best of both worlds that your user requires.

no...

we just have the one bes server ...

i was thinking along the lines of setting up a dummy user on the secondary unit and forwarding a copy of the primary units mail to the dummy account.

but the problem would be if a mail were sent from the secondary unit...
i need to somehow spoof who its being sent from ....
