I've got a BES Express and three attached devices. Everything is working fine on these devices except when I delete items from the mailbox, they will appear on the device, and even when I read an item on the mailbox it still shows as unread on the device. Bi-directional synch is setup and they do apepar to be working fine, except for these two little issues.

Any ideas?

On the device, Mail > Options > Email Reconciliation > Delete On: set it to "Mailbox and Handheld" and Wireless Reconcile to "On"

And wait 20 minutes.... the process that sync's up deletes and read messages from your handheld/desktop runs every about 15-20 minutes, so it is not instant.

Ok, had already got them settings configured. just deleted a number of items from my mailbox and waiting to see if they disappear fromt he device....fingers crossed.

ok, the deleted items are still sitting in on the device and were deleted at about 7.30am GMT.....

Go to the options on the device, go to Service Books, and delete the "Desktop [SYNC]" service book. Once it is deleted, click the wheel in and hit "UnDelete". This will force a re-enterprise activation. Try it out after this. Wait a hour after it activates to make sure too ;)

Its not a true reactivation. Just some settings and messages.

ok, after re-activating it on the BES it now appears to be working. thanks for all the help
