Whoops, yeah it looks like my b/w is exceeded. I think it resets at the end of this month, so sorry for the downtime. It is free hosting, so I can't really complain.

Default For MIME setup for Windows servers

- Right Click "My Computer"
- Choose "Manage"
- Expand "Services and Applications", then "Internet Information Services"
- Right Click on "Web Sites" and choose "Properties"
- Select the "HTTP Headers" tab and press the "MIME Types" button at the bottom
- Choose "New"
- For Extension, put "adp" (no period needed)
- For MIME Type: "audio/adpcm"
- Click "OK", then "OK" again

your server is now ready to serve up .adp files

Question Ringtones don't download

Howdy,

I can browse the sites listed in the threads (and even created a temp one following all instructions etc).

My BB7100g says its downloading an adp, brings up the media player eventually, but every ringtone i download is 00:00 in length.

What could be causing that?

That's my point. Lucky's spent time setting up a site so that people who don't have the knowledge/time/resources to set up their own can have an easy and *free* way to download ringtones. And because it doesn't work "perfectly" this guy has to rag on him.

I'm sure a midi file would work just fine for that song, try checking www.musicrobot.com

Default no Oki ADPCM under Save As...

Everything works fine (very nice thread) up until I want to save my .wav: I can only choose .wav, I don't have the option Oki ADPCM under Save As..

Am I missing a component on my laptop (Dell Latitude, up-to-date Windows XP)?
