It will still show that your downloading 3.0 - The build number for beta 2 is 3.06167. After downloading, open Opera, MENU - TOOLS - HELP - ABOUT....and you will see the build number there.

One way you can tell the upgrade worked is because your bookmarks are gone. Bummer.

However, I downloaded the version 3 from beta site 30 mins ago. The build number is 3.05xxx.

I do not think they have updated their site yet.

And my bookmarks are still in my BB; plus I confirmed the build number is 3.05xx rather than 3.06xx.

Damn. My bookmarks were wiped out. I fired up the browser from my Pearl, selected the upgrade link on the Opera page and performed the upgrade OTA. No problems on the install but when I restarted Opera, my bookmarks were gone. Nobody else has had this happen?

Help > About says 3.0.6167, 20061121

3.05xx is NOT the correct build number. It doesn't appear that your upgrade worked, which might be why you still have your bookmarks.

The upgrade finally worked for me but there is now 2 Opera shortcuts on my desktop. I haven't noticed any differences yet between the Beta and Beta 2 as of yet.

I like it! Rendering on my 7130 is great, only beef with it is having to go to a separate screen to input into fields.

I suggest not using this browser for browsing your online bank account.

I agree. That is a little goofy. And then you have to hit enter and select OK. What is really a pisser is when you hit "clear" by accident and you have to type it all in again.

Is everyone's still working fine? Mine stopped working and I can't even re-download it again!
