Work is switching from Nextel to Verizon (FINALLY!!!!)

Anyone tell me the benefits? I see getting used to the keyboard may be a problem.

yah to me its a huge improvement from 7100i, plus keyboard is much easier and faster then suretype.

The speakerphone is not as loud. The buttons are much smaller (I have big fingers). Hmmm...mine seems to freeze a bit.

I know this sounds bad, but overall I'm happy to have made the switch. The 8703e has a more professional feel to it. The wider screen makes life easier too. I noticed that the 8703e, apparently before it upgrades to V4.2, cannot run many apps and I can't even add media via the desktop manager. Oh, and I'm using Sprint - read my recent post on their customer service.

Only OS version at or above 4.2 have the media.

Hey guys....

Quick question...

I just switched from Nextel 7100i. (love the 8703e)

When on a call with the 7100i and then I receive another call, the 7100i would give me the option to IGNORE the incoming call, Put CURRENT on HOLD, or DISCONNECT CURRENT and ANSWER NEW.

I do not see this on the 8703e with Verizon?

Am I missing a setting?
