I will wait until RIM comes to it's senses and puts the wheel/track point back into the side of the device. I don't know what happened, but man I love that wheel. It will influence my next purchase for sure.

Waiting for me is going to be a little easier because my shiney new Pearl is still the apple of my eye! The new-ness has not worn off yet so I'm not jonesing for the "next great thing". Now, if I was still using my 7105t then I'd probably be sitting in the corner of a dark room rocking back and forth and sweating quite a lot. But for now, I'm o.k.

i'm picking up the crimson the week it comes out on tmo; I consider it a reward to myself for making it to spring without traveling to Canada and committing B&E for one.

I'm a fan of 24 so I carry my own 'jack bouer' personal ski mask, even during the summer, but it would be nice to have someone to split travel expenses with.

will get back to you.

I'm for sure waiting. I still have the 7290 and was so close to upgrading to the 8700c but i figured i might as well hold out until the ultimate (camera) 8800 comes out rather than waste the money on the 8700c. The first version of the 8800 is coming out with no camera. I sure as hell miss my old camera phone lg vx6000. A blackberry with gps, cameraphone, wifi, blackberry os, will be unbeatable by any other device out there hands down IMO.

I got the 8700c as soon as it came out and I will get the 8800 as soon as it comes out.

I have always been and always will be an early adopter

Awe heck! Get wild and crazie with it! Go with the 8700 for now, keep it in good shape, sell it on ebay after you get the 8800......

Ya that's a GREAT plan!!!!

I think I know this feeling...kind of like that moment when my 8700 pretty much functioning as a voice device and I thought, "Oh, well, guess I just need to get the 7130c. Have been lusting after it for a bit now. Darn."

Fortunately...or perhaps, unfortunately, I am distracting myself from the upcoming release of new Berries by focusing on what my next weekend toy, I mean, phone, is going to be. At the moment, the Samsung A707 is in my sights. It should occupy my interest for a few months.

I wonder how I long I have to use my upgrade with Cingular, which I became eligible for just yesterday?

Still, I will be waiting, I think, at least until February. It will take all my effort and strength to resist, but I must get my husband's line and mine on the same contract end date, though the waiting may well kill me.

Perhaps they have pills for the cold sweats, delusions and shakes induced by such torment as waiting to buy a shiny, new Berry?
