Default 8 days....2nd pearl

I hope this isn't a constant issue. Had my phone for 8 days now and today it just stop working. Well it worked a little. If you pushed a button it did nothing until about 30 seconds later and the roller wouldn't work at all. Took it to the dealer and he messed around with it for about a minute and gave me a new one.

The funny thing is I droped my phone today on the concrete and scratched it up (just ordered my rubberized case yesterday) but now I have a brand new one, but I have to re-input all my numbers :(

Not the BB's fault if you dropped it and it started acting up! Why make a statement that you hope this is not a constant issue if persnal abuse caused the 1st to fail??

I am rather suprised they gave you a new one if user abuse caused it to fail. I guess thats why we all keep paying more and more for the devices.... [[[[sigh]]]

It had a scratch on there.....how is that abused. All of my other phones have been dropped numerous times with no problem, so I assumed that dropping the phone was not the cause.

I feel like i am paying about the same i always have for phones, $100 for this one and thats about the most i will pay.

If i drop it in water or step on it, they still will give you a new one.

So the junky ( I only call it junky because of the title of your post ) BB 8100 just decided to quit working the SAME day it bit the concrete?

Don't sweat it, we will all pay for your replacement the next time we purchase a BB.. [[[sigh]]]

It amazes me the number of people that rip companys off, then brag about it or blame the problem on faulty equipment, with little to no remorse...
