I do hope cingular does launch the 8800 first .. Cingular always has the more sexy looking berry .. And plus I can just unlock it to be used with my tmo sim ..

Hey boy genius, have u played with the phone at all? How's the keyboard vs the pearl???

I duno if I agree ojn the fact cingular gets better looking phones. I'd rather have black vs blueish 8700 from cingular.

Default Uhh.... ?

The grayish cingular looking blackerry is ugly as hell. I don't think anyone likes that one. The other one with the crome sides tapered around the phone is obviously the best looking one. I think thats gonna be the one for T-Mobile (hopefully).

i was at the mall today and went into an authorized Rogers dealer and was told the 8800 will be out in December. HE called it some other name though but i don't remeber. All features of the 8100 will be on the 8800, this is what i was told so far.

Uh....oh. If Rogers gets the 8800 "indigo" that means no camera. Thats a bummer.

Cool

With rogers and t-mo deutchland getting the the 8800g "indigo" in early december. The 8803g "indigo camera " most likely will be out by april 07 for t-mo deutchland . Does anyone in the mood for euro imports?

Well the only thing i am hoping for with the 8800 is that wifi will be on there, the camera wears off after awhile.

The Tmobile Dash (HTP Excalibur) comes out on Monday. It's on Tmob brouchures now. QWERT, WiFi, camera, mp3 player. I'd say offhand it's a player. Maybe don't wait for the 8800!
Edit: can't post urls yet. Endgadget has the stuff.

The Dash may be a good device, but it's got to be one of the ugliest around. Also, it runs Windows Mobile, which will mean multiple resets and various other quirks and bugs.

IMHO, the 8800 will blow the Dash away...no comparison.

Now that I have both a 7130 and 8100 under my belt, looks as if the 8800 is next...

Dash is definitely hot...form factor is nice, OS is super speedy and stable, really great all around, just hate the typing, not the keyboard the xT9 software in it its like predictive typing with QWERTY soooo stupid. Havnt found a way to disable it yet.

hey Justin, what's the reason why you can't have camera phones at your job?

any word on if the 8800 will be UMTS capable? now THAT would blow any phone out there out of the water. not many smart phones can boast UMTS/HSPDA except the Samsung i607 (i600) and i guess soon to be the Samsung i760 (which I guess technically is a PPC not a smartphone)

Default two quick questions

when will the 8800 be available in the UK- or available in the us and made to work in the UK.

also will it have VOIP- as for me that is the big selling point, otherwise ill just go for the 8707v

cheers
