Help. I have purchased a Freedom Input Bluetooth keyboard for use with my personal (not network) Blackberry 8700g. I (and some, unlike me, truly tech savvy) friends have go it to the stage where I am asked to insert "enter passkey" in the menu.

The driver is in and all seems to be O.K but I cannot get further and there is nothing in the paperwork that came with the keyboard to help nor can I raise a reply from Freedom Input.

Does anyone know what I do next or where to look ?

If I can't get this keyboard to work, does anyone have experience of using the roll up keyboard that uses the mini USB port and cable ?

I'd like to leave a laptop at home and tavel only with the Blackberry.

Try "0000" as the passkey, this is usually the default.

I have one and it works great. The passkey is 0000. Did you load the BT keyboard software on your Blackberry? I am suprised, whenever I have a question, they are pretty prompt. Try their support email at Freedom Input Ltd - Home also

What setting do you have in the "Repeat Rate" and "Repeat Delay" Fields? I find that when I am typing sometimes it cant keep up with my typing and other times, it is too sensitive and every letter is typed twice?

I am very happy with the product and it is really convenient
