for those of you who have played with one, and have been able to make a call, how is the voice quality of the 8100?

is it similar to the 8700? or is it more like a regular phone?

The reason I ask is cuz right now I have the 7250.. its horrible as a phone in noisy environments - if im walking down the street in manhattan, people are always yelling at me and asking me where I am..

I thought the voice quality was amazing. I tried it with and without a BT headset. Without, it was plenty loud, and the person on the other end said it was very clear. I walked outside into the wind and crowd, and they said it still sounded good. I called my voicemail to hear for myself and liked what I heard.

With a Jabra JX10, it was also very clear. The person on the other end said I was a little louder, but not much. I called my VM with the headset, and it sounded the same to me. Both crisp, clear, and good volume.
