I probably did something stupid, but I can set profiles and hear sounds, etc, but only while doing configuring.

In 'real' mode, the sounds and vibrate never come through.

Did I push a new button or something? I don't think I hit mute, but that is for mic and way.

Did you activate the profile? Are you using a third party theme? Try switching back to the default theme.

Well, the sounds/vibrate partially work.

They work fine with built in sounds, etc on email notification.

But do not work on 'BB Messenger' messages.

I definitely are setting the current default, 'Messenger - Alert' and 'Messenger - New Message' and I've tries the standard 'Vibrate' with no luck and tried switching to the one I setup, no luck.

The profile is activated. I just got the unit, so haven't even tried changing themes yet!

I had myself set to unavailable.

From the manual: If you are set to unavailable, you will still receive instant messages, but WILL NOT BE NOTIFIED.

I did the same thing too! I am so glad I did a search and you helped me fix it
through your trials.
